Finally it was time for lunch. Today was going by so slow and Maci just wanted to go home. She missed her little Robby. He was in daycare while she went to school and work. Maci's parents picked him up from daycare when they got home. Being a teen aged mother still in your freshman year of high school was hard, but luckily Maci had her parents helping her out whenever she needed it. Maci definitely did not depend on her parents to do anything, but her parents insisted that they help her as much as she needed. Maci loved her parents and she would not do anything to jeopardize her relationship with the two of them. They loved her and she loved them, Robby definitely loved them too.

Maci walked into the cafeteria and walked over to the salad bar. She was on a strict healthy food diet. She would not eat anything unhealthy. Maci started this "diet" right after Robby was born, and it definitely helped her lose the baby weight and stay in nice healthy shape. Greek salads were definitely Maci's favorite, but today she was going to go with a regular garden salad. As she put the lettuce into the container, she noticed a few girls staring at her and whispering to eachother. Maci knew exactly what they were talking about, but she just ignored it. She had been used to it by now. She came into 9th grade being a mother, there was no way to hide it.

Maci quickly put her dressing on her salad and went to find a table. As she was walking along, Maci noticed an empty table by the windows. She walked over, put her tray down and sat down. She expected to be alone, once again.

A.J. didn't know why she'd bothered to show up for school today. As well as things were going, she could actually graduate two years earlier instead of one year. Whatever. It didn't matter. Showing up meant that she cared a little bit, but everything was completely easy to her. Maybe she could graduate this year, get her PhD by 20 and become and FBI agent like Spencer Reid from Criminal Minds.

Fat chance though. Spencer graduated high school at 12.

It was lunch time and even though A.J. usually skipped lunch, she heard there was going to be pizza today. She would never dare turn down pizza. She went to the cafeteria, got in line for food, paid and went to find somwhere to sit. Sadly, she saw a red headed girl sitting all alone. A.J. didn't like seeing that. She walked over and said, "Want some company? I promise I don't bite." She smiled friendly.
