livin’ on borrowed time so i’ll die tomorrow- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - During 3rd hour, AJ just wanted to stab herself. She already knew this material in Chemistry and she did not need to hear it repeated. When she was able to, she got a pass for the restroom, claiming she was sick and took her stuff with her. It was such a cinch! Luckily, the bathroom was nowhere near the class so the trip there was a nice a lengthy one. Once there, she put her books down on the counter in front of the sinks, hopped up on it and took her cigarette pack out her right boot.
But she stopped herself.
Why in the fuck did she smoke? I mean, it was a nasty habit and it was supposed to kill brain cells, even though she still had all of hers. In other words, she was still a super smart chick, so there was no way she could’ve lost them. The cigarette made it to her mouth and the flame of the lighter made it five millimeters from the opposite end, but she couldn’t light it. She let the lighter go out, then took the cigarette out and put it back in the pack. Then she put it the whole pack in her boot. No one was around. So, she just leaned back against the wall and shut her eyes. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - TAGS! OPENOUTFIT! BAMMNOTES! NONEMOOD! TIREDWORD COUNT! 221 CREDITS! SAM-A-LAM LYRICS! --- i'll be there when you close your eyes ,. ( HOLD YOU TIGHT, SAY GOODNIGHT ) Lori got by when it came to school and school work. She put in exactly enough effort so that she could keep her grades at around a 3.0. Her aunt and uncle considered this good for her, and therefore didn't restrict her from doing the things she wanted to. And that was fine by her. The less time she spent putting into her school work, the more time she had to do the more important things in life... aka planning her next house party.
Her last one had been nothing less than a success. Although with the amount of parties she's thrown over the past year or so she expected it. She was getting pretty good at having these parties and as long as she cleared up after them, her aunt and uncle didn't seem to care too much.
But right now she was heading towards the girl's bathroom due to the fact that her next lesson was one of the very few where Lori was getting great grades for. Lori didn't know why English came well to her, it just did, so she had decided not to question it. She didn't plan on spending the whole hour or so in here, but it was a good place to hide out for the first ten minutes or so. After that she normally went to the computer lab or the library, depending on what she'd done the time before.
However she hadn't expected anyone to be in the bathroom when she turned up. That was definitely a surprise for her. Lori stopped her stride for a second before realizing that it was just another student and she had no need to worry. "So what lesson are you ditching?" Lori asked, most probably pulling the girl out of whatever trance she had been in before Lori had entered the bathroom.

livin’ on borrowed time so i’ll die tomorrow- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - For some reason her brain felt like it was turning to mush and A.J. was beginning to think it was because she was relaxing for once, away from cigarettes. However, it wasn’t until a voice pulled her out of her trance. She was scared it was a teacher, but when she opened her eyes she saw it was just a fellow student. She sighed. “Shit, I thought you were the man. Uh, I’m skipping out on Chem, because I already know the fucking material. It’s so simple.” She realized that this girl was also skipping class. Either that or she was a student who was dual enrolled and this was her period off.
“How about you?” she asked. “What fabulous lecture are you missing?” A.J. readjusted her position and waited for the girls reply. By the looks of her, this one was either a kool-aid or a daquiri, but A.J. couldn’t be sure. Being a no nonsense it was automatically assumed that you went to class every day and paid attention to the lecture. In her case, that was definitely not so. She was more of a rebellious no nonsense because she was so smart and she didn’t want to sit through shit she already fucking knew. After all, who did? - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - TAGS! --- i'll be there when you close your eyes ,. ( HOLD YOU TIGHT, SAY GOODNIGHT ) Lori decided to lean against the wall next to the door of the bathroom, glad that she had her cardigan on, because the tiled wall was cold, even with the jacket on. The girl's eyes shot open, which Lori found a little amusing, but shew no signs of it. She listened at the girl's explanations, wondering why any any girl would need to swear as much as she started to think this girl was capable of, and she'd only just met her.
“How about you? What fabulous lecture are you missing?” She asked and Lori shifted her weight from one foot to the other before answering. "English." She said, crossing her arms over her chest. "We're studying Romeo and Juliet, but I know the play like the back of my hand." Or the floor plan of my house..." She thought to herself, thinking that it would probably be a better simile for what she was trying to say. Romeo and Juliet was most probably her favourite play that she'd ever studied, and that was saying something. Not her favourite book, but play, yes. She had a thing for Leo Di Caprio. She'd once dreamed that she was Juliet and he was Romeo, and they did the whole story, except for the dying part. They'd ended up living happily ever after.

livin’ on borrowed time so i’ll die tomorrow- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Hmm, A.J. thought. I think R&J was a freshman course? She shook her head, and pushed that thought aside. “I see,” she said once she’d naturalized herself. “And I know what you mean. I know all of Shakespeare’s plays like the back of my hand. I don’t know why I even bother to show up for English. It’s so easy, it should be illegal.” A smile crossed her face and she laughed at her own joke. Actually, it really wasn’t that funny, but she laughed anyways.
“I’m Alice. You can call me A.J. just so long as you don’t bust my ass for being in here.” Why would the girl want to bust her anyways? After all, she was skipping too. There was a fine line between hypocrisy and realism. A.J. certainly was a hypocrite in many ways, but she didn’t give a care. She was her own person and if they didn’t like it they could bite her. Not literally because that would hurt. What she really meant was, well….it was their own problem then and they needed to get over it. Why did it matter to other people? It wasn’t their life. It was hers and she would do what she pleased with it. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - TAGS! LORI/OPENOUTFIT! BAMMNOTES! NONEMOOD! TIREDWORD COUNT! 206 CREDITS! SAM-A-LAM LYRICS!
